Thomas DeSando

I’m a multi time award winning filmmaker providing various roles in Directing, Director of Photography, Producing, Editing and Drone Pilot. I am an owner/operator of multiple cinema cameras in the RED ecosystem. I utilize my tools that allow me to include a variety of visual elements to help tell your story behind the lens. Furthermore, I can also craft your story together in post-production as an editor. I owe major credit for the style in my work to my film background from the University of Colorado.

I have an eclectic background of working in a variety of film production roles from production assistant, assistant camera, camera operator, drone operator, cinematographer, director of photography, producer and director. I’ve directed short films, corporate videos, documentaries, real estate videos, wedding videos and much more. I also have experience working in TV productions filing in as a DP when needed and in commercial work. My sports content has won multiple Telly Awards including Gold (1) Silver (5) and Bronze (3) where the competition included the production teams of the Atlanta Falcons, Jacksonville Jaguars, Red Bull and Miami Dolphins to name a few. As an editor, I’ve edited commercials, electronic press kits, long form narrative films “Document” and “Lilith”, documentaries, promo videos, corporate videos, testimonials and more.
